This is an entry from my journal last week. Recounting an experience I had on my way to work a couple of mornings in a row.

“That’s two mornings in a row now I’ve seen it.”

“The first time. It was coming at me head on. A single rectangular led light bar. Then a flash of c-pillar and a massive wing in my mirrors. Illuminated red by my tail lights.”

“The second was this morning. Headlights popped up. Piercing the pre dawn darkness of a fall Indiana morning. Petty blue with a white number 43 and “Plymouth” stenciled down the rear quarter…….there she was again”

“Gone as soon as it came.”
