Spontaneity. Something that I feel is often overlooked in every day life. In today’s day and age, people put, in my opinion, too much emphasis on planning out and regimenting every aspect of their lives. People expect you to have a plan. To know what you want to do and the steps to which your are going to complete that plan.
You have to do things to make more money, get a better job, get promoted. But, what people don’t ever tell you to do is make your own path. You have to follow the pre-designed route to get to the point they think you should be at. Not everyone is the same. The route that may have worked for someone else, won’t work for you.
No one tells you to just go out there and have fun. Experience new things, meet new people, make new friends. Whether you like it or not, we’re only alive once. So why spend all your time working yourself to death? Only to make more money. Be spontaneous. Go out there and find your own enjoyment. Don’t let anyone tell you what’s right for you. Reach out for your dreams. Chase them with a vigor and don’t stop till you make them a reality.
Don’t be afraid to make sudden decisions. Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there. You find out more about yourself when you leave your comfort zone once, than you ever will sticking to what you know.
If you get those butterflies in your stomach when your putting yourself out on a limb. You’re doing something right. Get out of your routine, try somethings new, go somewhere different.
And never look back.
You will thank yourself forever for doing so.
